Ansonia Clock Co., Ansonia, Conn. "SYMBOL EXTRA" model crystal regulator 8 day time and unusual strike on dual bells spring driven mvt in rolled brass case with Roman numeral chapter ring and exposed escapement, c1894
CONDITION:
brass case is nicely polished, the gong and gong standards have been replaced by bell but the original gong and gong standard are included and can be refit to case, the strike train is complete but not currently striking, dial with hairlines and repairs around both winding arbors, the glass in the fron door has one chip missing in the bottom right hand corner, original pendulum with scene of two monks imbibing. Ht 15 1/2"
